Porosalmi is a new, gorgeous log villa in Salmilampi, Ruka

Porosalmi is a new, comfortable and quality villa that accommodates 6+2 people. It is located in the beautiful Salmilampi area, close to all Ruka services. With its variety of amenities, this villa guarantees an amazing holiday experience in any season! The villa was built in 2023.

OPEN-PLAN KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM

Spacious, well-lit, open-plan kitchen is located on the ground floor of this two-storey villa. From there, you can enjoy beautiful views of Salmilampi. In addition, there is a glazed terrace as wide as the villa, where you can enjoy your morning coffee during summer or watch animals and birds. Reindeers may visit the backyard almost every day in the summer.

BEDROOMS

Good night sleep is ensured with quality beds and fresh bed linen. Three of the bedrooms are located on the upper floor. Each of those bedrooms has a sliding-door wardrobe. Two of the bedrooms have 42” Smart TVs. Downstairs, there is a pullout sofa that can provide two more sleeping places.

SAUNA

Porosalmi villa has a beautiful sauna space downstairs. It has two rainwater showers, an electric sauna and, for a perfect relaxation, an outdoor Marquis Woodstock Elite jacuzzi that fits 7 people. Together with the downstairs living room, the ground floor provides everything you need for a perfect, relaxing evening with family and friends. Downstairs also has a toilet and a utility room that has a second fridge and freezer.

EQUIPMENT

This villa is equipped with all necessary amenities, including washer, dryer and a drying cabinet so you can easily wash and dry your clothes and your equipment during your stay.

The cabin has air conditioning and an air source heat pump, which keeps the indoor air fresh and cool even in summer and ensures a good night sleep in the comfortable beds.

OUTDOORS

If you’re coming by car, you drive all the way to the covered parking area, which also has a wallbox charging station for electric cars. Outdoor barbecue hut provides space for cooking and hanging out by the open fire in any weather. Duckboards over the swamp will lead you to a pond, where you can row and fish in the summer. In winter, the popular and well-maintained Alakylä skiing trail goes right by the villa. Ruka’s sledding trail can also be accessed right from the backyard. Ruka’s skiing center is 4km away.

ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING

For an additional fee, you can use the Wallbox charging station (11kWh). You will be charged per usage (35c/kWh).

PETS

Well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay in the villa.
