Moi! We are Lotta and Tommi, a family who fell in love with Kuusamo and the life it offers — a place shaped by vast forests, crystal-clear lakes, changing seasons, and a rare sense of peace that stays with you long after you leave.

It didn’t take us long to realise that Kuusamo is more than somewhere you visit; it’s somewhere you experience. From the glowing autumn landscapes and snowy winter forests to long summer nights under the midnight sun, every season here feels completely unique and has something to offer for everyone.

For us, creating a comfortable stay is just as important as the surroundings. Lotta has a passion for creating warm, welcoming spaces where guests can relax by the fire, enjoy the sauna, and experience the simple luxury of a quiet moment by the lake — whether it’s under the midnight sun in the summer, or under a dancing aurora in the winter. Tommi, meanwhile, can often be found tending to the hot tubs, making sure everything is ready for a perfect evening under the open sky.

Every guest comes to Kuusamo for a different reason, whether it is for adventure, relaxation, or time away with family. That is why we care deeply about making each stay feel personal, thoughtful, and unique.

Although this work is part of our everyday life, it never stops being meaningful. We are fortunate to live and work in a place we love, and we still find ourselves stepping away to explore the nature around us whenever we can — often returning with new ideas on how to make our cabins even better for the next guests who arrive.
