Welcome to a private riverside cabin at the Kitkajoki River in Käylä!

The wonderful Northern Kuusamo with its national parks invites you to a cabin holiday at Hiekkaranta!

Located at the magnificent Kitkajoki River, the traditional Finnish log cabin accommodates 5 people; downstairs there is a spacious bedroom for 2 people (180cm double bed) and upstairs three single beds (80cm).

The wood-burning stove in the finnish sauna offers amazing steam after a day of outdoor activities! Your cabin life will become even more relaxing thanks to a outdoor jacuzzi Marquis Hollywood Elite. Enjoy a warm nordic bath under the northern starry sky and admire the northern lights in the sky!

In the Hiekkaranta cabin you will find a well-equipped and spacious modern kitchen, a soapstone fireplace, SmartTV and beautiful views of Kitkajoki River in Kuusamo.

The cabin has air conditioning and an air source heat pump, which keeps the indoor air fresh and cool even in summer and ensures a good night sleep in the comfortable beds.

In the outdoor storage you can store your own hobby equipment, and inside the cabin there is also a drying cabinet and a washing machine for equipment and clothing maintenance.

The beach is sandy and the swimming area shallow and hard-bottomed. In summer you can use a rowing boat and a canoe at the river. Also two bicycles are free of use. It is possible to ride for example to the local shop, which is 2 km away or to the National Park Oulanka, which is only 10km away.

In winter there is a traditional cross-country ski trail at the other side of the river, the wilderness trail of Kitkajoki (length 10 km). Snowmobile trail is easily accessible. The cabin is also equipped with 2 pairs of snowshoes and telescopic poles.

Friendly and indoor-clean dogs are allowed, please inform beforehand!

This is an excellent location for a cabin holiday in Kuusamo and for spending time actively in nature. Many famous hiking trails are easy to reach, car is essential.
