This beautiful private cottage is situated right next to lake Kantojärvi in Ruka-Kuusamo, with only short driving distances to the great National parks of Oulanka and Riisitunturi. Ruka ski resort is also only 10 km away. Kuusamo airport is only 33km away. You will find a car being essential to get around.

Riekonkieppi can accommodate up to 5+1 persons. It features a master bedroom downstairs with double bed (160cm) as well as 3 additional beds upstairs (double bed 160cm and single bed 80cm).

A wood heated sauna will allow you to enjoy the real authentic Finnish sauna culture. In front of the cottage you will find a wood-fired family hot tub, available to use for an extra fee. Swimming in Kantojärvi is very child friendly as it features clean and clear water along side sandy shores. The lake shore is shallow and has a pier as well as a rowing boat.

There is also a cozy barbeque hut, camp fire site, fish trap, hammock and trampoline (in summer) for your private use.

There are also snow shoes, telescope sticks and a sleigh free to use during wintertime. A snowmobile track is easy to reach from this cottage in Ruka-Kuusamo too.

Your pets are welcome to stay with you. You will also find a dog fence right next to the cottage.
