We, Lotta and Tommi, fell in love with Kuusamo because of its nature, outdoor activities, northern lights, reindeer, peaceful atmosphere, and stunning seasons — especially the colorful autumn foliage and true snowy winters! Our family enjoys many of the same activities that travelers come here for, such as nature photography, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and fishing.

Tommi’s long experience as an entrepreneur in the construction industry has enabled us to carry out cabin renovations, remodeling projects, and even new builds entirely by ourselves. Plans and ideas for future projects are always in the works, and we handle almost all maintenance tasks personally. Lotta loves cleanliness and cozy cabins where it’s easy to relax by the fireplace, heat up the sauna, and take a dip in the crystal-clear lake — whether in summer or through the ice in winter! Tommi prefers relaxing in a hot tub rather than a sauna, and he is also responsible for maintaining the cabins’ hot tubs.

We believe it is important to consider the different needs and wishes of our guests and to make every stay truly unique. Work and free time have become closely intertwined in our lives and turned into a way of life. We also enjoy traveling and discovering new places ourselves, but from time to time, a relaxing cabin weekend is exactly what we enjoy most — although even then we often end up cleaning or improving something around the properties.
