Rukan Sydän – for you who want to stay in the very centre of the ski resort, amidst all services. During the winter season, two ski-lift passes are included with the apartment! All services and restaurants of the Kumpare Shopping Centre are located in the same building. For an easy, carefree holiday stay at Rukan Sydän!

OPEN-PLAN KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM

In this compact apartment you’ll find everything needed for a small group holiday! From the living-room–kitchen windows you can enjoy views towards Rukankylä and the slopes; the apartment is on the ground floor. The living room features a comfortable sofa and Smart TV, the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking – and if you like, the full restaurant scene of Ruka is right at your fingertips! High-quality appliances and tableware, as well as the bedroom beds and the sofa in the living room, were renewed in autumn 2025.

BEDROOMS

Rukan Sydän is a two-bedroom apartment. The main bedroom has two separate 90 cm beds configured as a double bed (or can be separated). The main bedroom has windows towards Rukankylä and blackout curtains. There is ample storage space. The second bedroom has a bunk bed: the lower bed is 120 cm wide, the upper bed is 80 cm wide. The apartment accommodates up to 5 persons. A travel cot can be reserved for the youngest family member as an extra bed.

SAUNA

The apartment has its own sauna, shower and a separate wash-basin in the same space. A separate toilet is located next to the main bedroom.

EQUIPMENT

The apartment features a drying cabinet for equipment. The storage areas have been designed for the needs of a winter sports enthusiast; each apartment also has its own lockable ski-locker at the entrance in the shared premises of RukaSuites, which also features a ski-service space. A laundry & clothing-care room is available in the Ski-Inn RukaVillage facilities.

LOCATION

Rukan Sydän is in the same building as the Kumpare Shopping Centre and e.g. Kotipizza. The apartment is situated at the end of the building, on the ground level. Under one roof you’ll find the wide range of Ruka’s services: shops, restaurants, bowling alley and gym, for example. The ski tracks and downhill slopes are only about 100 metres away!

PARKING AND ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING

You can park your car in Ruka’s warm parking hall (paid), with indoor access to the apartments. Free outdoor parking is available in front of the Kelo slope and at the Stadium. Short-term parking is available right in front of the apartment. EV-charging stations are in the parking hall.

PETS

Well-behaved pets are allowed, as per the reservation terms.
